Pandemic sparks remote access drive

Optimation says there is strong demand for its latest remote access offering with more staff opting to work from home.
It was released to help companies cope with staff affected by swine flu. The offering comprises F5's Firepass SSL VPN appliance and Vasco's server software, for secure, web-based access to corporate networks.
Optimation sales manager Verdon Kelliher says it has received a number of enquiries about the product.
"It's not just a swine flu solution. It's an overall offering that helps people work from home as we change to a culture that allows people to work from home, as opposed to being in the office all the time."
